His multi-million-dollar jury verdicts and settlements include:

  • numerous cases involving families with mentally ill members who have been negligently treated by the State of Arizona, ComCare, ValueOptions, Magellan, Partners in Recovery, and related entities;

  • sexual exploitation of minors in church, school and daycare settings;

  • bicycle cases with victims in and out of bicycle lanes;

  • cases against the State involving road design, construction, maintenance, closure and supervision;

  • cases against law enforcement agencies at the state, county and municipal levels involving issues of violations of civil rights, rights guaranteed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and various state tort claims;

  • a jury verdict for the parents of an eight-year-old girl killed while horseback riding;

  • a jury verdict for a 20-year-old woman stranded after a winter storm for 10 days on a state highway;

  • confidential settlement against a large national trailer rental corporation involving three deaths arising out of the use of a tow dolly;

  • a settlement for a man who was crushed between a tractor trailer and a loading dock;

  • a number of settlements of more than $1 million in cases involving products liability, professional liability, and auto and aircraft accidents.
