André Merrett practices in the areas of commercial litigation, trademark litigation and franchise law. An experienced litigator and trial lawyer, he has represented clients in several federal and state trial and appellate courts, where he has tried dozens of jury and non-jury trials to verdict. André also has significant experience representing clients in arbitration proceedings.

His experience includes representation of:

  • the world’s largest hotel chain in commercial and trademark litigation matters;

  • one of the world’s premier manufacturers of spinal surgical implants and devices in various litigation and transactional matters;

  • various manufacturers in disputes with distributors; and

  • franchise clients in litigation as well as the review of franchise agreements and franchise disclosure documents.
